Service Offerings
Individual Therapy
Individual Therapy, also known as 1:1 therapy, includes us working together virtually in 60-minute sessions. We will focus on personalized support, guidance, and interventions tailored to your individual needs and goals. We’ll work to build trust and connection as we explore what brings you to our work together. We can also incorporate psycho-education and develop tools that align with you and your hopes on your healing path. Also see “Neuroprocessing” as an alternative option.
Neuro- Processing
Neuroprocessing channels how our brains and bodies have the ability to heal from the impacts of traumatic events, memories, and attachment wounds. I’m trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing and Deep Brain Reorienting, which places less reliance on talking through events/memories that are too intense or inaccessible. Both models are used for working with (c)PTSD and other mental/emotional challenges. Visit these links for more information on EMDR and DBR.
Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy
Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy involves guided interactions on the ground (no riding) between you and horses. It’s conducted in collaboration between you, a trained mental health professional (myself), an experienced equine specialist and our four-legged partners—the horses. Horses can help with trust, communication, empathy, and emotional regulation. This type of therapy is impactful for those facing challenges with traditional talk therapy. You may prefer to do equine therapy exclusively or mix these sessions with other therapeutic offerings.
Outdoor Therapy
Outdoor Therapy focuses on the healing influence of the natural environment, with sessions taking place outdoors in PEI or any location of your choosing. Engaging in nature can help alleviate stress, manage anxiety and depression, and elevate one’s mental and emotional state. The sights, sounds, and textures provide a sensory-rich environment that helps achieve calm and grounding. Individuals can draw on the power of nature to aid in increased well-being and personal development.
Workshops & Retreats
I provide Workshops for fellow therapists to cover complex trauma and/or boundary/self-care/team connecting work; Front line workers who want a deeper understanding of trauma and to learn the foundations for effective and compassionate care; Health workers; Policy creators; and Non-profits. I also facilitate Retreats from a half day to multiple days, ranging from educational, strategic planning, self-care and team building. These are location-dependent and can include Equine Therapy. I am open to travel.

Sliding Scale
Currently full
As a registered social worker, most insurance companies will cover part or all of your therapy sessions. I do not direct bill to insurance companies. Payments can be made via credit card or e-transfer.
Unfortunately, adequate mental health therapy is not yet integrated into our public health care system, and there are many barriers people face when seeking therapeutic support, especially cost. If these fees are not accessible for you, our resource page contains links to quality therapeutic services that are more financially accessible. I hope to use the privilege of my role to help advocate for change in this area. To combat this, I offer select sliding scale and pro bono spaces.
